2009-11-17 - Christmas Eve at Avera and Orthopedic Center of the Dakotas!

The 5th annual Christmas Eve at Avera and Orthopedic Center of the Dakota’s will take place, starting at 10am on Thursday, December 24th.  The event is sponsored by the Exchange, Lions, Optimist and Sertoma Clubs of Aberdeen.  Volunteers from the clubs and community volunteers along with Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet in the lobby of Avera St. Lukes on Christmas Eve day and then proceed to make their way through the halls of the hospital caroling and leaving a poinsettia plant to each patient.  Santa and Mrs. Claus along with their helpers will go to the Pediatrics and OB area and present gifts to the children, new borns and their siblings.  The group will then proceed to Orthopedic Center of the Dakota’s.
