RAILS CLUB

In 1881, the city of Aberdeen was founded by the Milwaukee Railroad.  The community soon was known as the "Hub City" in recognition of the network of rail lines that converged in the heart of the town.  These railroads provided the strength and sustenance to support the individuals in the Aberdeen area.

The Rails Club was named to recognize the importance  these rails provided for the community growth and development.  Similarly, Rails Club members contribute a significant source of strength and support to meet the health and human service needs in northeastern South Dakota.

Rails Club members are recognized as leaders in giving and caring through their generous financial commitment to United Way of Northeastern South Dakota.

Consider the importance of your leadership role in our community and visualize the impact your gift could make to those in need.  Become a leader in giving and caring by pledging:  $500 - $749 to become a head brakeperson; or $750 - $999 to become an engineer; $1000 - $1999 to become a conductor; or $2000 or more to become a station master.
