We are grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this year’s United Way Campaign.
Together, we have spent much of our professional careers involved with challenges faced by individuals and families. We've seen successes, and we've also witnessed situations where people need help.
From that perspective, we know how the many services of our United Way Agencies impact the lives of everyone and provide things essential to the Aberdeen area.
Our "quality of life" here depends on non-government contributions that range from simply helping make things more enjoyable, to making a functional existence possible for some who are in need.
Many locals aggressively advocate how wonderful it is to live here. For that to be valid, we all have a responsibility to do what's necessary to "be what we say we are". Good things do not happen on their own. The United Way Agencies perform essential functions every day and we could not say 'Life is good in Aberdeen" without what they do.
It's an honor to be associated with the United Way and we eagerly look forward to being a part of asking you to help.
